Idella M. Reno, 89, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Home for the Aged in Pleasant Prairie. Born in Kenosha on April 1, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Elizabeth (Surprise) Le May. She received her education from St. James Grade School and Kenosha High School. In 1942 she married Carroll Boettcher in Dubuque, IA; he preceded her in death in 1976. Then in 1981 she married Eric Reno in Kenosha and he preceded her in death in 1983. Idella was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Surviving are her son, John (Victoria Flowers) Boettcher of Shoreview, MN; a step son, Bob (Dee) Boettcher of Markesan, WI; two sisters, Margaret Le May and Theresa Organist, both of Kenosha; and two grandchildren, Lars and Timothy Boettcher. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Harold, Bernard, Llyod, Lyle and Leonard; and a sister, Dorothy Hickey. Idella’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Miso Miloslavic and the entire staff of St. Joseph’s Home for the Aged for the great loving care they gave her. As per the family’s wishes, funeral services were private.
