Gary W. Vescova

Gary W. Vescova, 62, of Kenosha, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at his residence surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer. Born in Kenosha on February 24, 1950, he was the son of the late Albert and June (Pandelopous) Vescova. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, Gary graduated from Tremper High School. On November 8, 1969, he married Kathy Kenney at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Gary was owner and operator of Vescova Heating and Cooling. His favorite place to be was his cabin up north in Wausaukee, WI. He loved to hunt, fish, and was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan. Surviving are his wife, Kathy of Kenosha; his three children, John Vescova of Phoenix, AZ, Lora Vescova, Gilbert, AZ, and Sara (Kevin) Hannaman of Kenosha; a brother, James (Carol) Vescova of Kenosha; a sister, Sandra Vescova of Cave Creek, AZ; seven grandchildren, Ashton, Christian, Olyvia, Andrew, Madelyn, Izabella and Emilie; and a great-granddaughter, Kayden. Gary was a loving uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nephews, and great nieces, and his beloved Labrador, Annie. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Proko Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
