Mary Lucille Hylinski

Mary Lou Hylinski, 82, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday March 23, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Home in Kenosha with her loving family by her side. She was born in Kenosha on July 5, 1929, the daughter of the late Albert and Genevieve (Houlahan) Johnson. Mary was educated in Kenosha and graduated from Kenosha High School. On November 19, 1949, she married Chester Hylinski in Kenosha; he preceded her in death on November 30, 1991. Mary was a former member of St. James Catholic Church, she enjoyed bowling, arts and crafts, traveling with her husband and family and attending the local craft fairs. “Mom’s home was a wonderful place to be during the holidays.” She loved sharing these precious moments with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving Mary are her children, Michael (Peggy) of Kenosha, Mark (Nanette) of Kenosha, Connie (Randy) Teichert of Genesse, WI, and Cathy (Rick) Williams of Kenosha; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Janice Hylinski of Temperance, MI; three brothers, Jim (Carole) Johnson of Antioch, IL, Tim (Linda) Johnson of Racine, WI, and Dennis (Mary) Johnson of Somers, WI; a sister, Barbara (Russ) Ancevic of Kenosha; and two sisters-in-law, JoAnne Johnson of Kenosha and Audrey Johnson of Cudahy. Mary is preceded in death by a son, Steven; and two brothers, Richard and Jerry Johnson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 27th, at St. James Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery.
