Alvin D. McGough, 73, of Kenosha, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at his residence. Born in Truman, AK, on October 16, 1938, he was the son of the late Edgar R. and Pearl Mae (Lowder) McGough. He came to Kenosha in 1958 to make his home. On January 8, 1957, he entered the United States Army until his honorable discharge on November 7, 1957. On February 13, 1954, in Lakeland, IN, he married Clara Moore; they later divorced. He then married Judie Borchert on June 8, 1979, in Kenosha. He had been employed by American Motors until his retirement in 1988. Alvin attended Great Lakes Church and loved watching football. He is survived by his wife, Judie Marini of Kenosha; two children, Lisa Morelli of Kenosha and Charles (Denise Bomia) McGough of Oregon, OH; three step-children, Laurie (Jeff Boswell) Naekrsz of Racine, WI, JoLynne (John Cisewski) Borchert of Fountain City, WI, and Billy (Sandy) Borchert of Fountain City, WI; one sister, Murline Squire of Kenosha; his former wife, Clara McGough of Kenosha; eleven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara McGough; and a sister, Oneta Robinette. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 3rd, at Proko Funeral Home at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be private at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday at Proko Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. May you find comfort in God through this difficult time of your loss. I have very found memories of Uncle AD that I will forever cherish. He was a kind and loving man and leaves a legacy of these characteristics in his children Lisa and David.God Bless
