Kelly Ann Fenton, 33, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 19, 2012, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. Born in Kenosha on September 3, 1978, she was the daughter of Bill and Laurie (Jorgensen) Fenton. She was a 1996 graduate of Bradford High School. Kelly enjoyed traveling and ice skating. She had a great love for cats. She worked for various businesses in the Kenosha area and she spent a lot of time taking care of her grandmother. She was a tremendous help to both her mother and grandmother. She is survived by her parents, Bill and Laurie Fenton of Kenosha; her grandmothers, June Jorgensen of Kenosha and Georgina Fenton of Forest Grove, OR; aunts and uncles, Lynn (Tony) Aiello of Kenosha and Viriginia (Bill) McKenney of Forest Grove, OR; and also by several cousins, other relatives and friends. Kelly was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ralph Jorgensen; paternal grandfather, Bill M. Fenton; and maternal great-grandmother, Helen Glamkowski. Kelly’s parents would like everyone to remember to hug their children every day. The words the poet, Ralph Waldo Emerson, best exemplify the quality of life Kelly lived; "It is not the length of life, but the depth of life that matters." They would also like to thank all those who visited or sent prayers and also many thanks to the doctors and nurses of 2nd and 3rd Palmer at United Hospital System for their kindness at this difficult time. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd, at Proko Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held on Thursday, February 23rd, at St. James Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.Proko Funeral Home & Crematory5111-60th StreetKenosha, WI 53144Phone: (262) 654-3533Visit Kelly’s Online Memorial Book at:www.prokofuneralhome.com

I am so saddened by the passing of our friend Kelly. She was a big part of my life for a long time. She was always happy and concerned about the happiness of others. She would not want us to hang out heads and mourn. So stand up look up and be happy she would want that. To her parents I am deeply sorry for he loss of you only beloved daughter.

The Bradford Class of '96 is like a family. When one of us is called home, we all feel it. I'll never forget Kelly's smile. She's looking down on all of us now, waiting until we are all reunited again.

My deepest sympathies. Kelly was my first friend when I moved here in 6th grade. I looked out over a sea of unfamiliar faces and she was sitting there, smiling. We lost touch over the years but I have thought about her from time to time. I am very sorry for your loss.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Kelly's family and friends during this difficult time. I didn't know Kelly as a young woman, but knew her throughout elementary and junior high school. Kelly always had a warm smile and was pleasant to everyone around her.

I love love love this picture of you! It is how I will remember you, happy, healthy and beautiful. We've had many great times at Bradford. Senior year was so much fun and I will always think of you when I remember our high school days. I'm grateful for the time we spent together at the 15 year reunion. Wish we could've spent more time. I will see you in heaven dear friend! Love You Always!!

I did not know Kelly very well, especially after graduation. However, I do remember that she had a wonderful and contagious smile that would brighten up a room. She was sweet, and very kind. Kelly will be greatly missed in this world, but I know that she is doing many wonderful things in God's hands. My prayers go out to her family.
