Franz Leibfried, 99, of Salem, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012, at Walnut Grove in Lake Geneva, WI. Born in Frankfort, Germany, on October 25, 1912, he was the son of the late Gottlob and Franziska (Schottdorf) Leibfried. On March 19, 1939, he married Betty Dorner in Germany. She preceded him in death in 2002. Survivors include his daughter, Inge (John) Mueller of Arlington Heights, IL; two grandsons, Helmut (Anne) Mueller and Richard (Lily) Mueller; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters.
