On Wednesday, December 7, 2011, Judith Marie Reget went to be with her Lord and Savior in heaven. She died in her home after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family. Though she will be greatly missed here on earth by her friends and family, we know that she is smiling down upon us from heaven. Judy was born in Kenosha on December 8, 1942, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Sophie (Pascucci) Werve. Judy was a graduate of Bradford High School and went on to get a degree in nursing from Gateway Technical College. On November 5, 1960, she married the love of her life, Henry D. Reget at St. Thomas Church. She was employed at St. Catherine’s Hospital as a nurse for many years. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Judy loved to spend her days gardening and was selected to be in the 2010 Four Seasons Garden Walk. She was active in the Ladies Heart Luncheons and in many Bible study groups. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed cooking, baking, housekeeping and playing cards. Survivors include her brothers, Michael (Patricia) of California and Patrick (Christine) of Gurnee, IL; her sons, Greg (Karen), Chris (Sheri), Jeff (Michele) and Paul (Catherine) Reget, all of Kenosha; her grandchildren, Gregory, Annette (John) Londre, David, Alexandra (Thomas) Dryer, Kathlyn, Brittney, Zach, Karyn, Jack, Tyler, Rebecca, Sam, Josh and Rylie; and her great-granddaughter, Kira. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hank, and her parents. A special thanks to the “angels” that made her final months brighter, Linda, Doris, Walli and Gigi, dear friends and caregivers, Jill and Stephanie, and the entire Hospice Alliance staff. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 12th, at Immanuel Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 11th, at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Kenosha Firefighters CARE, 11254-44th Avenue, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158, would be appreciated by the family.Proko Funeral Home & Crematory5111-60th StreetKenosha, WI 53144Phone: (262) 654-3533Visit Judy's Online Memorial Book at:www.prokofuneralhome.com

Paul and family: We are sorry about the loss of your Mother, who was a wonderful woman. She provided so much for your family and for others. This is both a time of sadness and relief as she is no longer in pain but is now enjoying God's wonderful blessings in Heaven. I know that the Christmas season will be hard, but because of Christ coming to earth, we now have the promise of God's eternal promise of Heaven. Our prayers are with you now and through this Christmas season.
