Elaine Alice Wilson
Elaine Alice Wilson, 96, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 5, 2011, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Eau Claire, WI, on November 12, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Oliver and Alice Cecilia (Poeschl) Bonell. They moved to Kenosha when Elaine was just a young girl. On June 29, 1940, she married Kenneth E. Wilson at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on September 26, 1993. Elaine was co-owner, along with her husband, of Wilson’s Variety store. She served as the book keeper for a number of years. She was also employed as a school secretary by Lincoln Jr. High. Her most notable and enjoyable job was raising her six children. She was a member of St. Catherine’s Auxiliary, St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Altar Society. She was also a Girl Scout Leader and an avid bridge player. Elaine was very proud of being a 50 year member of the Catholic Woman’s Club. In 1963, Elaine and her husband bought a home in Lake Geneva, where they spent their summers enjoying time with family and friends. Elaine is survived by her six children, Barbara Beaulieu of Kenosha, Richard (Muriel) Wilson of Ten Mile, TN, Steven (Valerie) Wilson of Jupiter, FL, Laurie (Ernest) Corsi of Hoffman Estates, IL, Julie Wilson of Racine, WI and Carolyn (Michael) Daleen of Barrington, IL; thirteen grandchildren, John, David (Laura), Michael (Janet), Robert VanKammen; Brian (Renee) and Craig (Jennifer Swan) Wilson; Andrea (Brian) Lantz, Carl Corsi, Kevin and Brooke Lawrence; Kimberly, Christopher and Margaret Daleen; nine great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Catherine and Genevieve VanKammen, Zachary, Emma, Madeline Sinnen, Sophia Lantz, Luke and Jack Wilson; a sister, Dolores Alfredson of Kenosha; and a sister-in-law, Imelda Bonell. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a daughter in infancy, Margaret Ann; and her brother, Dr. Blair T. Bonell. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Elaine’s care givers, Elizabeth Pagente and Esther Gil. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 9th, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private at All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 4:00 p.m. until the time of Mass. Memorials to St. Joseph Academy, St. Catherine’s Auxiliary, American Cancer Society, or Allay Home & Hospice (1532 S Green Bay Rd. Mt.
