Barbara Joy Grams, 78, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 30, 2011, at St. Catherine’s Medical Center. Born on August 23, 1933, in Milwaukee, she was the daughter of the late Oliver W. and Eleanor (Weber) Nystrom. She moved to Kenosha around 1962. Until her retirement in 1989 she was employed as a C.N.A. at the Lutheran Home for the Aging in Milwaukee. Barbara enjoyed dancing, stock car races, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the Salvation Army Home League. She is survived by her son, Ronald (Kathy) Grams of Kenosha; five grandchildren, Shane (Alice) Grams, David (Jami) Grams, Ryan (Marcie) Grams, Casey, and Tiffany (Dave Cosford) Grams; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Betty Jean Metzger. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3rd, at Grace Lutheran Church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 noon.
