Marilyn Ruth Anthony, 79, of Kenosha, passed away, with her family at her side, on Thursday, October 27, 2011, at St. Joseph Home and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Chicago, IL, on December 27, 1931, the daughter of the late Fred and Lillian (Meisner) Housman. On December 31, 1940, she married Raymond E. Anthony in Chicago. He passed away on June 13, 2011. A member of Wildwood Presbyterian Church in Grayslake, IL, Marilyn loved to spend time with her family. Her many hobbies included, gardening, needlework and collecting dolls and plates. Surviving are her two children, Mary Lynn (David) Mauer of Kenosha and Cynthia (Byron) Sever of Rochester, NY, a sister, Lois Johnson of Illinois, three grandchildren, Jennifer (Albert) Murillo, Raymond (Kathryn) Swanson and Lilian Sever; and five great-grandchildren, Alison Murillo, Albert Murillo, Katelyn Swanson, Alexander Murillo and Jonathan Swanson. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and Robert Housman; and two sisters, Laverne Housman and Shirley Tyssen. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 4th, at Wildwood Presbyterian Church, 18630 W.
