On October 14, 1978, he married Julie Wojtak at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. His education started with grade school at Holy Rosary, High School at St. Joseph’s, and college at Parkside. Chuck served a voluntary, two year tour of duty during the Vietnam Era, and was honorably discharged. He was an accomplished dental technician for the Racine Dental Group for 25 years of service. Demand for his services prompted him to own/operate the Matteucci Dental Lab. He was a past member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. He was a lifelong member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where he donated much of his time on festival committees, parish council, Holy Name Society, school board (President) and many fund raisers. He was a staunch member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Kenosha, WI. Chuck was an avid sports fan and will be especially remembered as a talented softball player. Chuck loved his children, and especially enjoyed following them through their many activities in and out of school. Chuck is survived by his children, Joseph (Ruth) Matteucci, Anthony Matteucci, and Anne Matteucci; brothers, Dr. John (Marianna) Matteucci and Dr. David (Karen) Matteucci; a sister, MaryAnn F. (Louis) Ritacca; two grandchildren, Lillianna and Hannah Matteucci; and loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald T. Matteucci. To the Charles Matteucci family, We are so sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you during these difficult times. The Whole Matteucci family seems tied to the De Fazio family for a long time and in so many different ways. I remember when my children were in KYF baseball and I coached my boys as well as the Matteucci boys. And of course my parents go way back with the whole family. Our thoughts are with all of you. Your kindness over the years and friendship well always beheld close to our hearts. Mike and Terri De Fazio on behalf of all the De Fazios

There are no words I can say that could make this easier on the family. Cousin Chucky is dearly thought of by me and my family. My mom always used to say, when my brother Scott has his moustache, he reminded her of chucky. He will truly be missed by our family. For me I will also miss his laugh. Bless the family and many prayers for chucky and his kids. The Moyes Family
