Marion Griffin, 87, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at St. Catherine’s Medical Center. Born on April 27, 1924, in Elkhorn, TN, he was the son of the late Thomas Walter and Georgia Vesta (Easley) Griffin. He was educated in the schools of Springville, TN, and served in the United States Navy during World War II. On December 26, 1952, he married Susie L. Steele in Mississippi and moved to Kenosha in 1959. She preceded him in death on May 17, 2005. Marion was employed as a truck driver for KAT for many years. He enjoyed NASCAR, bird watching, flowers, and watching his grandchildren bowl. He is survived by his two sons, Randy (Karen) Griffin of Kenosha and Andy (Ann Kainer) Griffin of Houston, TX; his three grandchildren, Amber (Steve) Lemke, Jason Griffin and Cody Griffin; his special friend, Judy Osban of Kenosha; and his beloved dog, Beana. Marion was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
