Debra J. Moreland, 56, of Kenosha passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011, at her residence. Born in Kenosha on February 20, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Robert and June (Johnson) Moreland. She was a lifetime resident of Kenosha and a graduate of Tremper High School. Debbie went on to receive her Associates Degree from Gateway Technical College in Materials Management. She was employed by the First National Bank, Danaher Controls and ITO Industries. Debbie was a dedicated mother who enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, antiques and cooking. She made each of her children and grandchildren feel special and important by showering them with hugs, kisses, and serving huge portions of their favorite foods. Her beautiful smile and infectious laugh was notorious for brightening up a bad day. Debbie loved nature and animals which was reflected in yearly camping trips to Stern’s lake in Minocqua. In addition, she was interested in geology, archaeology and sociology. She is survived by her children, Scott, Steve, Robby and Carin Guttormsen all of Kenosha; her grandchildren, Andrew, Nathaniel and Hans Guttormsen; her brother Barry (Diana) Moreland of Kenosha; and her sister, Shelly (Tom) Helf of New Berlin. Memorial services will be held on Monday, August 8th, at the Proko Funeral Home at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will be held on Monday at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be deeply appreciated.Proko Funeral Home and Crematory5111-60th StreetKenosha, WI 53144Phone: (262) 654-3533Visit Debra’s Online Memorial Book at:www.prokofuneralhome.com
