My condolences to the entire Murphy family on the loss of LaVerne. I have many fond memories of vacationing with LaVerne and the Murphy family at Virgin Timber Resort on Moose Lake in Hayward and then Pine Forest Lodge on the Pike Lake Chain outside of Minocqua. Unfortunately, I am in NW Ontario this week and won't be able to attend the services for LaVerne.

There are many sweet, happy stories about Aunt LaVerne being passed down in our family. Although distance separated us most of our lives, it never affected our feelings of love and affection for the Murphy clan. As my Dad's older sister, LaVerne will always be remembered with great fondness. I know I speak for my Mom, Bernie, as well when saying we will miss LaVerne and offer our sincerest condolences to the family.Barbara Feldman

All in Kenosha,Fond childhood memories of the house on 11th Avenue where Aunt LaVerne cooked and served full meals for such a large crowd (at least 15) in such a small galley kitchen and dining room. Always so kindly! Karen Henry
