Madeline E. Pfeiffer, 93, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Grande Prairie Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born on February 10, 1918 in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Milton and Catherine (Orth) Northway. She attended local schools, graduating in 1936 from Bradford High School. On December 31, 1939, she married Donald M. Pfeiffer in Dubuque, IA. He preceded her in death in 1988. Madeline was a member of the Senior Action Council. She enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid card player. She is survived by her three sons, Robert M. Pfeiffer of Oak Creek, WI, James P. (Janice) Pfeiffer of Kenosha, and Michael D. (Joyce) Pfeiffer of Kenosha; three grandchildren, Paul, Brenda, and Jonathan; and two great-grandchildren, Angelique and Lexus. Madeline was preceded in death by her brother, Edgor A. Northway in 1962. Funeral services for Madeline will be held on Thursday, May 19th, at Proko Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery.
