Thomas J. Cronce, 70, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at his residence with his wife at his side. He was born in Frenchtown, NJ, on May 2, 1940, to the late Augustus and Lucy (Kerr) Cronce. He was educated in Frenchtown and moved to Kenosha in the early 1960’s. He served in the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserves from 1959 until his honorable discharge in 1965. Thomas was employed with Tri-Clover for 30 years, retiring in 2000. He was an active member of the VFW Junker-Ball Post 1865, the Cooties and was an avid bowler. Survivors include his wife, Beatrice of Kenosha; two sons, Ken (Sue) Cronce of Kenosha and Donald (Angie) Cronce of Fredericksburg, VA; a daughter, Sandy (Steve) Lassiter of Kenosha; four grandchildren, Jerry Cronce, Kenneth Cronce II, Eric Lassiter and Erin Cronce; and a brother. He was preceded in death by a brother. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4th, at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Entombment will be held on Thursday, May 5th, at All Saints Mausoleum at 11:00 a.m. with full military honors.
