John P. Kondrot, 86, of Racine, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Woodstock Health and Rehabilitation Center in Kenosha. Born on April 29, 1924, in Kenosha, he was the son of John and Elizabeth (Januscaucuxia) Kondrot. John was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Most of his life he lived in Kenosha, spent the winter months in Florida, and later moved to Racine. On September 15, 1956, he married Marleah Kraemer at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church. She passed away October 17, 2004. John enjoyed golfing and bowling. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 1st, at Proko Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
