Ron was an inspiration to me by virtue of his dedication to caring for his aunt, his affection for Carol, and his beautiful wood carvings. May his family and friends find comfort in his memory and his smile as I do.

My dear Cousin's,My deepest Sympathy to each of you in the loss of your dad. I never ceased calling your dad Uncle Ronnie even after your mother (my Aunt Donna) passed away. I remember well hearing my mother (your aunt Laverne) say "Ron Voelz is the most loving, kind person walking this earth" she often referred to him as being a Saint he was so kind. I'm grateful to have known him...a wonderful role model to me. Your dad and I spoke from to time to time over the years, just catching up on things, we exchanged Christmas cards and sometimes pictures. Not long ago I sent your dad a package containing a DVD and VHS of years ago, some of you are just babies in these films...so cute! I suggested to your dad for him to have all of you over for popcorn to view these wonderful memories that were captured on the Camera by our Uncle Mac and Aunt Eleanor...your dad said "sounds like a good idea". My heart is heavy over the loss of such a kind and loving person, I can say with out a doubt he was a Gentle Giant In Many Ways. I shall miss his Gentle voice and our conversations. My heart aches for each of you...May Happy Memories sustain you through this sorrowful time. My Thoughts, My Prayers Are With You. From The Heart, Your Cousin Judy (Lewiston, Idaho

I am Ron's next door neighbor, and just saw this online Saturday night. I sit here absolutely stunned. I was planning on taking him some soup on Sunday. For many hours over the years, Ron, Carol and I would sit and visit after finally getting Missy to stop going berserk. I will miss them both, greatly.
