Janet M. Harrison, 68, late of Waupaca, formerly of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011, at Manor Care of Kenosha after a long illness. She was born in Racine, WI, on September 22, 1942, the daughter of the late Garald and Elvera (Langenfeld) Winegarden. She was a graduate of St. Catherine’s High School in Racine. On April 17, 1982, she married James Harrison in Kenosha. She was last employed at St. Joseph Nursing Home until her illness. She loved gardening, crafts, her pets, and having her children and grandchildren visit in Waupaca. Surviving Janet is her husband, James; four daughters, Sherry (Roger) Reiter of Kenosha, Laurie Duczak of Racine, Cindy (Scott) Otter of Kenosha and Tracy (James) Bulger of Kenosha; a step son, Timothy (Robin) Dunow of Bristol; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald Winegarden of Kenosha; and a niece, Dawn Winegarden. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Hospice Alliance for the wonderful care given to Janet and her family. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 16th, at the Proko Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Mass will be held on Wednesday at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
