Le Roy H. "Lee" Glasel, 91, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2011. He was born in Lake Forest, IL, on June 28, 1919, to Olga and Svend Glasel. Lee joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in December 1939, and transferred to the United States Air Ground Unit in 1943. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. He worked at Illinois Bell for 39 years and was a life member in the Telephone Pioneers of America. He greatly enjoyed fly fishing. He was a self-taught professional in fly tying. On July 26, 1947, he married Virginia Burggraf. He is survived by his wife and four sons, Tom (Sheryl) of Kenosha, Jamie (Stephanie) of Rochester, MN, Jeff (Cathy) of Paris, and John (Cheryl) also of Paris, WI. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was much loved, and will be sadly missed.
