Robert J. "Sharky" Holdsworth, 71, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, February 14, 2011. Born in Kenosha, on August 27, 1939, he was the son of the late John and Leona (Norby) Holdsworth. On October 19, 1960, he married Mary Jenel. They recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary. He was employed for 42 years by American Motor Corporation/Chrysler until his retirement in 2002. Sharky was a big Chicago Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks, and Cubs fan. He was known as the "Trivia Man". He enjoyed calling into the local radio show to discuss trivia, sports, and movies. He also liked to visit with the guys at Andrea’s Barber Shop. In his earlier years he enjoyed coaching CYC and playing basketball. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Mary of Kenosha; his four children, Robert (Shela) Holdsworth of Kenosha, Rick (Lori) Holdsworth of Arizona, Pamela (Michael) Baker of Kenosha, and Kimberly (Charles) Lindas of Kenosha; seven grandchildren, Whitney, Brandon, Ricky, Jonathon, Geoffrey, Michael, and Nicholas; two great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Isabella; and two sisters, Candice Schwartz and Jeri Cairo, both of Kenosha. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Buencamino, Dr. Bandealy, and to Hospice Alliance for all of their special care and support. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 17th, at Proko Funeral Home at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
