Dear Mike (and Christine),I was so saddened to read of your mother's passing. I fondly remember the wonderful person she was. I so enjoyed our parent-teacher conferences. I know that at one time she was actively involved in the First Congregational Church. That was the church which I was involved in as a child. I don'tknow if she ever knew that over the course of the past six years I have been the volunteer landscaper at the church. During the past five years, I have also continued to volunteer as the intramural instructor at Prairie Lane. I still love playing those sports with the kids.I would have loved to have been at the home to offer my condolences on a more personal basis, but I am presently recovering from surgery and confined to our home. Again, please accept my sympathies. There is a present void in the hearts of her three grandchildren which only time and fond memories will mend.Your past sixth grade teacher,Mr. Milt Dean
