Henry Macak, 88, passed away at Brookside Care Center on Wednesday, January 12, 2011. He was born in Kenosha, WI, on April 11, 1922, to the late Michael and Anna (nee Jariabka) Macak. Henry was educated in Kenosha schools (graduating from Bradford High School) and the Milwaukee School of Engineering. In 1943, during World War II, he became employed at Nash-Kelvinator Corporation and retired from American Motors Corporation after 42 years as an electrician. On November 25, 1944, Henry was united in marriage to Elaine J. Klesken, who preceded him in death on September 30, 2002. Surviving Henry are sons, James R. Macak of Milwaukee, WI, and Thomas A. Macak of Plover, WI, his granddaughters, Emily, Hannah, and Suzanne; his grandson, Brian; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wife, Henry was preceded in death by an infant brother and sister and his daughter of five months, Julia Ann Macak.
