Mary SCHULTZ
Mary E. Schultz, 88, formerly of Pleasant Prairie, late of Naperville, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2011, at Sunrise Assisted Living Center in Naperville, IL. Born in Kenosha on August 11, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Bonn) Wenning. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. She moved to Omaha, NE, to Racine and then to Pleasant Prairie in 2004. On March 24, 1945, she married Henry P. "Hank" Schultz in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on April 4, 2008. She was enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, was involved with the PTA when her children were younger, and loved bowling, golfing and gardening. She was also caregiver to her father-in-law, the late Peter Schultz, and her sister-in-law, the late Mildred Grable. Survivors include three sons, Jim (Carol) of Naperville, IL, Jerry (Beth) of Bonita Springs, FL, and Peter (Fay) of Chicago, IL; a daughter, Joanne (Tony) Bond of Montara, CA; a brother, John Wenning of Racine; a sister, Josetta Wagner of Kenosha; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Cletus in infancy; and two sisters, Catherine "Kay" Aiello and Lucille in infancy. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 12th, at St. Therese Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
