Steven Jon Alisauskas, 44, of Hanover Park, IL, passed away at Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, IL, on January 1, 2011. He was born on June 2, 1966, in Kenosha, the son of Charles and Jeanette (Steinmetz) Alisauskas. He graduated in 1984 from Tremper High School. On October 10, 1992, he married L’Rae Piencikowski at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Kenosha. He was employed as the Superintendent for Boldt Construction of Chicago. Steven was a member of the Local 161 Carpenter’s Union. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was an avid Packer and NASCAR fan. He is survived by his wife, L’Rae of Hanover Park, IL; his son, Steven Daniel; his daughter, Rayna Rose; his mother, Jeanette Alisauskas of Kenosha; four brothers, Charles of Kenosha, Ronald (Kristi) of Bloomingdale, IL, Daron (Dawn) of Kenosha, and David (Angie) of Kenosha; his in-laws, Dan and Linda Piencikowski of Montrose, CO; a brother-in-law, Garett (Allyson) Piencikowski of Montrose, CO; a sister-in-law, Amy (Wil) Harmsen of Montrose, CO; and many nieces and nephews. Steven was preceded in death by his father, Charles Alisauskas in March of 2008. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 7th, at Proko Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. L'Rae, I wish you and the kids peace in your time of loss. I have heard from many of the subcontractors that worked with Steve and they all expressed their sincere condolences for your loss.Steve was my comrade in construction and I relied on him to keep my sanity.
