Eino Oscar Maki, 97, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at St. Joseph Home for the Aged. Eino was born on April 3, 1913, in Ishpeming, MI, the son of the late Julo H. and Lisa (Makenen) Maki. On February 24, 1940, he married Dagmar Berg in Ishpeming, MI. She preceded him in death on October 16, 1993. Eino was employed by the Waukegan Public School District as a maintenance carpenter until his retirement in 1978. He was a member of St. Andrews Church in Lake Worth, FL. He enjoyed spending time at his cottage in Red Granite, WI, and helping his family and friends with their projects. Eino is survived by his three children, Patricia Stolnack of Farmington Hills, MI, Judith (Mark) Klein of Beach Park, IL, and Kristine (Brian) Delaney of Pleasant Prairie, WI; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his brothers and sisters, and son-in-law, James Stolnack. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 8th, at Proko Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
