Yale Streck, 84, of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2010, at Froedtert Lutheran Memorial Hospital in Wauwatosa. He was born on January 3, 1926, the son of the late Max and Vollie (Wesness) Streck. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Marquette University. Yale served in the United States Air Force during World War II. In 1953 he married Dejon Rothman in Wittenberg, WI. She preceded him in death on April 6, 2005. He was employed as an assembler by Ladish Tri-Clover until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church as well as a member of their men’s club. He was also involved in many charities. Yale enjoyed drinking wine, playing pool, golfing and taking walks with his dog, Cosmo along the lakefront. In his earlier years he enjoyed water skiing, fishing, and ice skating with his kids. He is survived by his three children, Nancy Streck of Kenosha, Kurt Streck of Kenosha, and Sue (Tim) Naef of West Milwaukee; and four grandchildren, Jeffrey of Kenosha and Michelle, Alyssa and Brandon of Milwaukee. Yale was preceded in death by his wife, Dejon, and his parents. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 21st, at Grace Lutheran Church at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery with full Military Honors.
