Mary L Loberger
Mary L. Loberger, 90, of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at United Hospital System/Kenosha Campus. Born on January 4, 1920, in Stephenson, MI, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lena (Buell) LaComb. She was raised and educated in Stephenson, MI, coming to Kenosha in 1963 to make her home. On December 24, 1941, she married Robert Loberger. He preceded her in death in 1984. Mary was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church for over 47 years. She worked for many years at Quaker Industries. Mary dedicated her life to being a homemaker and mother to her eight children. She spent many hours doing volunteer work at Kenosha Hospital and also at Aurora Hospital where she knitted hundreds of baby hats for newborns and also many hours at the Shalom Center and the Meals on Wheels program. Mary enjoyed her card club, traveling and attending the Kenosha Senior Center with her friends. Surviving are her eight children, Michael (Sue) Loberger, Gary (Sue) Loberger, Ruth (Mark) Wedekind, Joan (Arnie) Detloff, Mary Lou (Keith) Feichtner, Robert (Kathy) Loberger, Jr., Allen (Joleen Thompson) Loberger, and Bruce (Sue) Loberger; a sister, Mildred Robillard; sixteen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Ann in infancy; one great-grandson, Hunter Lee Brown in infancy; a sister, Erna Rivard; and two brothers, Joe and John LaComb. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 13th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery.
