Paul A. Rochau, 68, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2010, at his residence. Born on June 29, 1942, in Kenosha, he was the son of Alvin Rochau and Betty Ann (Neuman) Modory. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was educated in local schools and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. He served in the United States Navy from 1961 until 1964. On March 18, 1961, he married Gloria Polanin in Kenosha. Paul had been a Technician for Wisconsin Electric Company, retiring in 2005. He was an avid reader and loved traveling. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Gloria Rochau; a son: Paul Alan (Joanne) Rochau of San Diego, CA; a daughter, Sherri (Gary) Adkins of Apple Creek, OH; three brothers, Louis (Kathleen) Modory, Jerry (Margaret) Modory, and Mark (Maureen) Modory, all of Kenosha; a sister, Sharon (Ronald) Cain of Columbia, MO; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Ann Modory; his father, Alvin Rochau; his step father, Louis Modory, Sr., and a sister, Veronica Modory in infancy. A memorial service with full military honors will be held on Thursday, December 9th, at Proko Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will be held Thursday at Proko Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
