Helen A. Wiercinski, age 79, of Kenosha, went into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, December 4, 2010, at St. Catherine’s Medical Center in Pleasant Prairie, WI. She was born on December 12, 1930, in Kenosha, WI, the daughter of the late Andrew W. and Margaret J. (Witko) Morris. Helen attended local schools and on December 28, 1948, she married Henry Wiercinski at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church. Helen was a homemaker; she enjoyed raising her children and later spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving Helen are her husband of 62 years, Henry, three children, Catherine Wiercinski of Kenosha, Robert (Sandra) Wiercinski of Bristol, and Michael Wiercinski of Kenosha; three grandchildren, Brian, Scott and Keith; and three great-grandchildren; Timothy, Jessica and Allan. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Timothy “Tim”; a great-grandson, Steven; two half brothers; and a half sister. A memorial gathering will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Friday, December 10th, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
