Some of my happiest memories are of this golden boy -- the uncle who was more like an incredibly handsome big brother who seemed always surrounded by fun and friends and excitement ... the one who could pick up a pencil and draw something beautiful ... the one who swam all the way across a lake ... the one who tiptoed up the stairs in Grandpa's house with his shoes in one hand after getting home after curfew ... the one who was rescued more than once from stepping out an upstairs window when sleepwalking. The boy who served with honor in Korea and returned as a man who was even then able to surround us with sunshine. A man who brought the lovely Putsy and the children they had into our family. The one everyone loved and will always remember. A good man. A good life. My Uncle Bob.
