Doreen A. Robinson, 80, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2010, at Hospice House of Pleasant Prairie. She was born in Kenosha on March 15, 1930, the daughter of the late Sophus and Ruth (Gleason) Nelson. Doreen attended local schools in Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High. On October 20, 1951, she married Erving Robinson in Kenosha. She was employed at Nash Motors and later as a secretary at the John Braun Insurance Agency. She enjoyed bowling, ceramics and spending lots of time with her family and grandchildren. Surviving Doreen are her husband, Erving; daughter, Claudia (Erwin) Dahl of Kenosha; son, Warren (Jill) Robinson of Somers; eight grandchildren, Julia (Shavez), Carrie (Jamison), Kristina, Eileen, Allison, Valerie, Scott and Eric; and three great-grandchildren, Olivia, Melani and Haylee. She was preceded in death by her sister, Elaine Anderson. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 30th, at the Proko Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Spring Brook Cemetery.
