Ed and Joe, you and your families have my sympathy. I have always enjoyed talking to your mom at Seliga family functions. We always seemed to have a connection, probably being nurses. She was such a sweet and kind person. I have really missed her over the last few years when she was unable to attend the holiday celebration. She was a very special lady.

Our heartfelt sympathy to your family as you say good bye to mother and grandmother. Our mom, Alvera Ongna passed away on July 16 this year. She was 92. Alvera and your mom used to talk often - sometimes an hour at a time. As they got older the calls were less often as I think both had difficulty with the phone and hearing each other also became an issue. How too bad - they had some good conversations . Alvera would often tell about the good talks they had. What a lovely picture of your mom. Look up Harvey and Alvera when you are on the Hingham Cemetery on Monday - their plot is on the south end - black stone. When I go to clean the plot this fall I will look for your mom's site. Alvera had four sons - Richard (Dianne) in Minneapolis, Phil (Mary)and Scott (Bonnie) in Gibbsville, and Dan in Stevens Point. God bless you with His peace. Mary Ongna (for our clan)
