Mary C. Wolf, 90, of Kenosha, formerly of Waukegan, IL) went home to be with the Lord on September 10, 2010. She was born on November 29, 1919, in Aspen, CO, the daughter of Charles and Gertrude (Klemencic) Petrick. The family moved to Greensboro, PA, where she graduated from Monongahela Township High School, Maple Town, PA. She served in the U.S. Army during World War II and received an Honorable Discharge in 1945. On September 21, 1945, she was united in marriage to William “Bill” R. Wolf at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Evanston, IL. She raised her family in Waukegan, IL, and was employed at Fansteel Metallurgical Corp. for 40 years. She passes away in her home at Meadowmere Southport Assisted Living. Mary enjoyed simple pleasures, including tending her flower gardens and spending time with her grandchildren. Mary is survived by her daughters, Karen Van Kammen of Kenosha, Penny Moore of Riverside, CA, and Bonnie Miller of Genoa, WI; grandchildren, Kevin and Steven Van Kammen, Trundy Kern, Ryan Moore and Robyn (Moore) de la fuente, and Brenna and Owen Miller; great-grandchildren, Jack Van Kammen, Singen Demouy, Samantha and Kellen Moore, and Cruz de la fuente; and nephews, Michael and Charles Maletic, and Keith Wadell. She was preceded in death by her son, Roger; husband, Bill; sisters, Gertrude Maletic and Olga Urban; and brother, Charles. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 23rd, at the Proko Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
