Armenia A. Bordo age 88 of Kenosha, passed away on Monday August 23, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Home Pleasant Prairie.She was born in Kenosha on September 10, 1921, a daughter of the late Carmen and Mary De Simone Bordo. Armenia attended local Kenosha schools and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High in 1941. She was employed at Tomkins Ice Cream Parlor and later was employed as a bookkeeper for Jockey International for over 45 years retiring in 1987.She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Mt. Carmel Ladies Aid Society, Kenosha Museum, Kenosha Senior Center and the Kenosha Senior Action Council.Survivors include her nephew and godson, David (Maureen) Bordo of Kenosha, nieces; Diana (Jeff) Wolkomir of Kenosha, Carolyn (Paul) Gannaway of Racine, Sister In-law, Rose Bordo of Kenosha also survived by many great nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Frank and Nicholas Bordo and one sister in her infancy.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday August 27, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10:00A.M. until time of Mass. Interment will be held in St. George Cemetery. Memorials appreciated to Our Lady of Mt.
