Frank Robert Farrell, 67, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully with his wife at his side, after a brief illness, on Thursday, July 29, 2010, at his residence. Born on January 5, 1943, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Grover and Edna (Kressin) Farrell. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he attended local Catholic schools. On May 20, 2000 he married Patricia Becker, at Kemper Center in Kenosha. For over 31 years he worked as a machinist for Ladish/Tri-Clover Corp retiring in 2001. He also worked for various bakeries in Kenosha; he was a highly qualified baker. A member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Frank was a sports enthusiast, he especially enjoyed golfing with his wife and friends, cross country skiing and many team sports. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packer fan and a huge Country & Western music fan. He is survived by his wife, Pat of Kenosha; his three children, Michael (Wendy) Farrell of Bristol, WI, Thomas Farrell of Kenosha, and Jody (Kevin) Humphres of Red Bay, AL; three sisters, Joan (Norm) Nikolai, Pat McNamara and Barbara Holzman, all of Kenosha; three brothers, James (Judy) Farrell of Janesville, WI, Steven Farrell of Greenville, SC, and Robert (Dori) Farrell of Kenosha; a brother-in-law, Frank Perri of Pleasant Prairie; two sisters-in-law, Maureen Blasi of Kenosha and Kathleen (Merle) Gilson of Crandon, WI ; and his seven grandchildren, Casey, Ryan, Kyle, Tyler and Katy Farrell, and Jessica and Nash Humphres. Frank is also survived by many lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Colleen Perri; and two brothers, John and Daniel Farrell. Frank was a wonderful brother to Robert all of these years; and a great brother-in-law to me. How fortunate that Pat and Frank found each other and shared those happy years together. We'll all miss those smiling Irish eyes. The world just won't be as good a place without Frank Farrell.
