Lana Mae Fraser, 81, of Kenosha, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2010, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. Born in Murphy, NC, on March 2, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Birdie Ellen (Duckett) Miller. She moved to the Kenosha area in 1944. In the late 1950’s, she married William B. Fraser in Kenosha. He preceded her in death on July 28, 1980. Lana was employed with Warwick in Waukegan and RCA. She was a member of Foursquare Church in Kenosha and the Word of God Tabernacle in Turtletown, TN. She enjoyed Country and Gospel music, collecting various novelties, and crocheting. Survivors include two sons, John and William J. Fraser, both of Kenosha; two daughters, Vicky Lynn Fraser of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Barbara Lees of Kenosha; three brothers, Amos of Copper Hill, TN, Carl (Sue) of Zion, IL, and Claude of Copper Hill, TN; a sister, Myrtle Loudermilk of Turtletown, TN; five granddaughters, Lurena Fraser, Roberta Lees, Emily Fraser, Crystal Fraser and Stephanie Fraser; two great-grandchildren, Amia and Mario Jr.; and also several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a son, Roy Edwards Prince; and a brother, Homer. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 29th, at Proko Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
