Hazel Florence Domenk, formerly of Kenosha, late of Killeen, TX, 93 years of age, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2010, to be with her beloved husband, Peter. Born in Buffalo, NY, on February 24, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Anna (Hubert) Waldron. She came to Wisconsin as a young child, to Kenosha in 1945, and moved to Killeen in 1979. On April 21, 1961, she married Peter J. Domenk in Illinois. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1974. During her residence in Kenosha, Hazel helped her husband at their business, The Uptown Bar and Restaurant. She also was a volunteer at Kenosha Medical Center and helped start the Penny Wise Thrift Store at the hospital. Hazel will be greatly missed by her loving children, Leola M. (William) Coon, Gene Beltz, Theresa Traina, and Carole (James) Walker; her grandchildren, William (Ann) Coon Jr., Vicky (Brian) Smith, Kerri (Timm) Olsen, Dan (Cindy) Passarelli, Eric Passarelli, Brian Passarelli, Dyanna Passarelli, and Elizabeth (Christopher) Mack; her sixteen great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and her feline baby, Blacky. Preceding Hazel in death was a daughter, Betty Passarelli; and three brothers, Roy, Walter and Ray Waldron. Services will be private at the family’s request.
