Alyssa Brooke Wayne, 7, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2010, at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee, after a short and courageous battle with a brain tumor. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born in York, ME, on December 4, 2002, the daughter of Michelle (Therrien) Wayne. Michelle and Alyssa came to Kenosha in December of 2008 to make their home. Alyssa was a first grade student at Stocker Elementary School and enjoyed arts, crafts, drawing, painting, music, dancing and singing. She is survived by her mother, Michelle Wayne of Kenosha; her father, Jans A. Wayne of Barnstead, NH; two sisters, Jenn Caouette and Kristen Caouette, both of Kennebunk, ME; two brothers, Daniel Wayne of Barnstead, NH, and Jans Evan Wayne of San Diego, CA; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Ann Marie Therrien of Springvale, ME; an uncle and aunt, Dan and Pam Therrien of Kenosha; and two cousins, Meghan and Sarah.
