Alaina Babette Caudill, 26, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2010, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. She was born in Kenosha on May 16, 1983, the daughter of Rhonda and the late Anthony Caudill. Alaina was employed by The Shanty in Wadsworth, IL; she also worked for The Merit Club in Libertyville and formerly Risotto’s in Gurnee, IL. She was currently attending Gateway College. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, modeling, and music by Mariah Carey. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and her loving personality. In her last unselfish act, she was an organ donor, continuing as always helping others. She is survived by her mother, Rhonda; her two brothers, Shaun Boettcher and Zack Sullivan; her best friend, JoAnna Dodge; many other loving family and friends; and her beloved pets, Teddi, Bazil and Alice. Preceding her in death was her father, Tony. Funeral services for Alaina will be held on Wednesday, May 5th, at Proko Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at Proko Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. I cannot believe she is gone. I haven't seen Alaina since we were 12. She was my best friend in Mr. Daughrty's 6 th grade class at forest park el. We hung out almost everyday! She was a beautiful person then and still is. I pray for peace and comfort in this hard time for all of you that are hurting.

I am so sorry for the loss of Alaina. I have not seen her since she was a little girl but all the beautiful comments make me believe she was just like her dad...my Uncle Tony. I know she is in a better place even though her life was cut short needlessly.

To Rhonda and all of Alaina's family and friends, I was shocked when I heard the news and still cannot believe it's true. I was fortunate enough to be very close to your family about 10 years ago. I was best friends with Trisha, Alaina's cousin. I remember when you all lived together and we were all so very young. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this very difficult time. To Alaina I am so blessed to say I had a chance to be friends with you even if it was only through our teens. To you Alaina-We were friends when we were teens. You were so close with my cousins, I remember hanging out with you, Tim and Tony, getting into mischief and having fun together. Not too long ago we were laughing because of the things we used to do.When I look at your name in my phone, it hurts. These days are numbered for us all, and this was a sad way to find that out.
