John Franklin "Frank" Ingram, 74, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at St. Catherine’s Hospital with his loving wife and family by his side. He was born in Prentiss County, MS, on November 26, 1935, the son of the late Bill Jack and Rebecca (Phillips) Ingram. He moved to Kenosha in 1951. On June 25, 1955, he married Dorothy DeRose at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. It was the largest private property donation by an individual (Kenosha News 1/8/09). Frank owned and operated Ingram Construction for over 20 years until his retirement in 1997, due to his health. He enjoyed raising horses, farming his land, specifically his corn and hay, gardening, and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Kenosha; two sisters, Dorothy (Marshall) Daughtry of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Mary Helen (Barry) Block of Mountain Home, AR; a brother, Billy Joe (Ann) Ingram of Darien, IL; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Sarah Ann Miles and Bobbie Allen; and two brothers, Woody Ingram and BJ Ingram. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Habel and Dr. Borman, as well as, the staff of Metz Medical for all of their care and compassion.
