Marie B. McCarron, 95, of Kenosha, passed away Thursday, January 14th, at St. Catherine’s Hospital, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Racine, on November 15, 1914. She was the daughter of the late Martin and Rose (Lattish) Eils. As a young girl she moved to Kenosha. On June 20, 1938, she married the late George F. McCarron, at St. James Rectory, in Kenosha. He died August 22, 1993. Marie was a past member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church, where she also served as a volunteer for many years. She was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #1966 (Ft. Lauderdale, FL). Also, she volunteered at St. Catherine’s Hospital and founded the gift shop, where she volunteered for 25 years. Marie and her husband, George, enjoyed traveling with the Racine Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps as uniformed chairman. She is survived by her three sons, Patrick (Enza) M. McCarron of Kenosha, George F. (MaryAnn) McCarron of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Kevin J. (Jody) McCarron of Kenosha; one daughter, Kathleen Mallo of Altoona, WI; one daughter in-law, Linda (John) Shaffer of LaValle, WI; one brother Jim (MaryAnn) Eils of Kenosha; two sisters, Alice Onosko and Ethel Bundy both of Kenosha; one sister in-law, June Fries of Boyton Beach, Fl; sixteen grandchildren, and many, many great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.Marie was preceded in death by her son, Michael McCarron; one sister, Ruth; and four brothers, John, Robert, Carl, and Paul. Funeral services will Monday, January 18th, at Proko Funeral Home, at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. Mrs. McCarron, you were always so kind,caring,funny,and giving. I'll always cherish the memories, when as a preteen and friend of Pat's, I was allowed to hang out at your home and accompany the family to outings at Lilly Lake. Only God knows how you could make so many delicious sandwiches and cook corn on the cobb to perfection in an open fire. Thanks again and again and again. Bill Orth
