Bob was a good guy. He and Rosemary raised a good family, He had a great dry sense of humor and could always enjoy a good beer. He will of course be missed by his family and many others that he touched in his life.

Our thought and love go out to you all. Uncle Bob always made me smile, he has a special way of bringing people out and making us feel important. I love he would come to Decorah to visit Grandma Lorraine when she was up visiting my mother each summer, and my girls and I would be there too- he made sure to talk to us all even Isabelle as a 2 year old. We were lucky to have him in our lives. Please know we are thinking of you in this tough time.Leslie, Bengt, Astrid, LIllian, Isabelle

I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Petersen's passing. He and Rosemary were both incredible people, and always so good to Nathan and I. You all are in prayers and thoughts at this difficult time. I just try to find some comfort in knowing that he and Rosemary are together again and will always be looking out for all of you.

Bob and I went through Mary D. Bradford High School together. He was very well liked, intelligent and popular for that great sense of humor that he possessed. I met Bob again when I went on the Kenosha Police Department in 1956 where Bob and I were Patrolmen. We both rose to the rank of Captain where our duties necessitated us working close together. He was always highly efficient in everything he done and maintained that wonderful sense of humor that he had. I'm thankful that I knew Bob and was able to enjoy his company all of those years. My deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones
