Dear Meurer Family,It seems like only yesterday that Jimmy and I were learning to ride that "little blue bike" and building forts in the park. Cramming into your Mom's Granada on the rainy days and walking to Harvey, Washington, and Bradford schools with the "park gang" always kept us very close and informed about each other. Hanging out with you was always the thing to do. You were the cool kid on the block and we all new it. You were never afraid to try new things and sometimes that got us into trouble, but that was what we did. As the years passed and we started families, we grew apart but we would see each other now and again and you were always making it a point to say Hi and ask about my family. As I sat in my parents front room yesterday for our Christmas celebration, I was looking out the window at your old house, the hot house, and the park, and all the great memories came back in color. I realized at that moment you were there with us sharing some time, just hanging out. I will miss you "wimps" but I will not forget you. Your family is strong and I pray you all will embrace each other in this time of need and accept my deepest sympathies.

To the entire Meurer family:I wish I had some words to say that would make everything better. Unfortunately there are none. All we can do is remember the time we had with Jimmy, good, bad, or ugly and realize it's just life. Life that has passed by and will continue on. Time is the only thing that will heal. So take some time to remember, heal, and move on and every once in a while hold our glasses high and toast to his memory with a smile. "Muzzy" would of wanted to be that way.Joe B.
