Katherine “Kathy” Johnson, 67, of Kenosha, passed away at her residence on Thursday, December 24, 2009. She was born on September 11, 1942, in Sheboygan Falls, WI, the daughter of the late Harvey and Marcella (Bublitz) Schmidt. Kathy was a registered nurse and was employed at various hospitals in Colorado, California, Arizona, Washington and Wisconsin. Kathy was a member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her granddaughter, Brooke. She is survived by her son, Scott Johnson of Kenosha; her daughter, Julie (Jeff) Milkie of Kenosha; her sisters, Carol (Tom) Beranis of Racine and Nancy (John) Slye of Kenosha; and her granddaughter, Brooke Zajac.
