This was such a shock! My deepest sympathy goes out to all of my cousins and family. I have such great memories of my Aunt Pat. Full of life and always a TON of FUN! I loved going out to Antioch (which I called the "country" when I was growing up) and spending summers at the Powderly's. Swimming in the lake, going to the drive in movies, turdle soup...just so many great memories! She will be truly missed but I am sure she will catch up with my mom in heaven. Hopefully the two can stay out of trouble!

To the Powderly family, my sincerest condolences. I only found out today of your loss and am heartbroken for you. I adored your Mom and have thought about her often through the years. Remember, Margaret, when we wanted to have that party at your house? She let us, but made us swear we'd name our firstborn after her. I also remember how John would give her a kiss every time he was leaving. I mentioned that to someone the other day, in fact, when describing how I wanted my relationship with my son to be one day. I hope you know how much she loved you all. It was very evident to me every time I was at your home. Take care, all, and know that someone in Vermont is thinking of you and fondly remembering your wonderful Mom.

It was with great sadness that I got the news about Pat's passing. As I childhood friend and neighbor, I remember her fondly. And like others enjoyed and remembered her remarkable sense of humor. I pray that her children, grandchildren and other loved ones treasure all the good memories and adjust to this sudden loss. Prayerfully, Mary Frank

What a bundle of wit humor smiles and hugs is seemingly lost to us, on earth, in Spirit she is ever present. Knowing our issues our faults our strengths better than we know them ourselves. We were friends for perhaps undefined years and went thru lots of passages , life changes , spiritual growth, and family challenges. Her strength will always be with you. I am sorry for your loss
