I will always have the best memories of Aunt Clara. She would light up a room with her joy. I have so many found memories of her coming over with Uncle Harold. The house would fill with laughter and it made you feel good inside just to have them over. Later in years she would take time to come over and visit even if she only had a short visit. She was always so thoughtful and caring to my parents and that meant so much to me. I know she is up in heaven with Uncle Harold right now. They are probably having coffee with Lester and Marion. At least that is how I picture it. She was a lovely lady and I will always cherish having such a special Aunt in my life. God Bless you all.

Aunt Clara, I think of you and miss you everyday. Thoughts of celebrating holidays at your home, brings so much joy to me. You and Uncle Harold are truly missed. I remember all the "great times" we had up north, going to the dump and swimming/boating/fishing. Love you, Mary Getschman

It's taken me a couple of days to be able to write something here. Grandma taught me the value of kindness, the ability to live with acceptance of the world around us and how wonderful it is to spend time with family. I will always remember sitting around the table, just talking, or playing card games, sharing our experiences of the days together. Silly little things like riding the exercise bike in the basement, what a cool thing is was as a kid. Time goes fast, not day by day, but looking back over family get togethers, the losses we've already faced, and realizing we are all getting older. I believe in heaven, and know that Grandma and Grandpa are together again, along with those who went before us waiting in pain free happiness for the moment we'll be reunited. I will miss Grandma very much, but will carry her spirit of kindness and love with me always.
