I met June when I began working in the Laboratory at Kenosha Memorial Hospital in 1969. She was a mentor and role model for many years. She and I shared a passion for baking yeast bread and cookies. We often exchanged recipes and learned that we owned some of the same cookie books.Following June's retirement, I enjoyed visiting her home and watching her miniature doll house grow. We exchanged birthday cards and phone conversations over the years. I will miss her greatly, but she will hold a special place in my heart. My deepest sympathy goes to Sue and Todd and your families. You were very special to June. Also my deepest gratitude goes to Regina. With your devotion, June was able to stay in her home and enjoy familiar surroundings.
