Robert "Bob" Krantz, 84, of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, with his loving family by his side. Born June 13, 1925, in Waukegan, IL, he was the son of the late Frank and Frances Krantz. He served in the U.S. Marines during World War II as a Corporal, stationed in the South Pacific from December 13, 1943, until January 4, 1946. He moved to Kenosha in 1957, and has resided here since. On November 11, 1957, he married Angeline Alia at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. He worked at Johnson motors. He was also a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Bob is survived by his wife, Angeline; four children, Robert Krantz Jr., Cathy (Alan) Rasch, Kenneth Krantz, and Linda Krantz; a sister, Maime Howlett; and a grandchild, Jacob Rasch. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 26th, at Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery.
