Francesca Ziccarelli Ricchio, 74, of Kenosha, passed away Friday, October 9, 2009, at Brookside Care Center. Born on January 5, 1935, in Fontanesi, Provence of Castrollibera, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Pietro and Fiorina (Romeo) Ricchio. She received her education in the schools of Italy, before coming to the United States and Kenosha in 1982 to make her home. While living in Italy she farmed and worked in Vineyards, Olive Groves and in the grain fields. Francesca loved to knit; she was a compassionate, loving helpful lady who thought everyone was beautiful. She loved the art of food and teaching kids about the arts. She believed in the good in people. She tried to live life to the fullest. She always had a smile on her face and never had a hard time making friends. Surviving are two sons, Joe Ziccarelli of Kenosha and Perino Jermonti of Scottsdale, AZ; a daughter, Virginia Guzman of Kenosha; and four grandchildren, Melissa Guzman, Mary Ziccarelli, Vincente Guzman and Salvatore Ziccarelli. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 12th, at St. Marks Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
